The staff were friendly and provided good service. The supervisor spoke English well, although most of the other staff didn’t. We really enjoyed the outdoor seating area, it wasn’t too hot even in the summer thanks to the shade from the trees and the nice breeze. The food was quite good overall. I asked for extra sauce with my steak, and they kindly provided it without any additional charge. The portions were generous and very filling, and we also received complimentary tapenade, which was a nice touch. However, we were a little disappointed with the temperature of the food. It arrived only lukewarm and became cold very quickly, which made us wonder if it had been prepared earlier and simply reheated before serving. Of course, we can’t be certain, but that was the impression we had. For the price we paid, we expected our food to be served hot. I also ordered my steak medium, but it was cooked closer to medium-well, almost well done.

Lovely setting in the main square. Good for casual dining and the beef burger was very good. Servers were good but a bit distracted by each other.

The service was friendly, but all the dishes were lukewarm/cold. A serious lack of vibrancy: bland foie gras, tasteless cuttlefish parsley sauce, bland ribeye steak, dry pork tomahawk steak... A shame. We miss La Salamandre terribly.

Great food in a beautiful setting. The staff were very friendly, with the food arriving promptly. Both dishes were excellent, leaving no room for dessert unfortunately. We didnt know what to expect from the plat du jour but the sliced duck breast on a bed of fresh strawberries, apple melon and pineapple was inspirational. The sauce complemented to fruit and duck. Just a short bus ride from Avignon this is a great place to visit 😀
