14/06/2026: It's a shame we can't give more than 5 stars! The venue is magnificent, and the staff is very professional and friendly. I booked the patio area for my birthday party, and I can say without hesitation that it exceeded my expectations in every way. Jacqueline created an exceptional decoration. Philippe treated us to a delicious meal. All the guests were so happy. We had a wonderful day. I will definitely return for future events. Thank you to the entire Castel team for your kindness and professionalism.

03/10/2026: I was disappointed with my experience at Basta Cosi. I had heard good things about it in the past, but it's clear that the quality has declined. The pizza was good but basic; the ingredients used weren't high quality and lacked flavor. The dough was very difficult to cut. The tomato tatin was tiny and uninteresting; it was greasy, and the pickled onions weren't marinated enough. My biggest disappointment was the dessert. An Italian restaurant wouldn't be complete without tiramisu, but I've had much better. Here, it was mostly sponge cake, and not even soaked enough. The essence of tiramisu lies in the cream, and unfortunately, I was left wanting more. The service was a bit slow, and we didn't have the same waiter from beginning to end, but they were all pleasant and smiling. Finally, regarding the atmosphere, the background music combined with the noise from the terrace could be quite unbearable at times. In short, I was planning to stop over in Italy but I certainly wouldn't recommend the trip.

Wonderful value for an amazing romantic moment..step outside of Villeneuve Les Avignon and be carried away...Will definitely be back!Thank you for the great service. 20/09/2026: Superb location, beautiful stonework, pergolas, magnificent garden, lovely atmosphere, DJ in the evening. A real wow factor for my 8 guests. However, there was a slight misunderstanding regarding the phone reservation: tapas in the garden (?), instead of the restaurant inside. We were celebrating a 50th birthday, and I was a little disappointed upon arrival. I wanted our family to be surprised from the start of the evening, so it was a shame to have to wait for a response. After a few minutes of discussion with a waitress, they agreed to serve us our meal outside, as the restaurant was full. This slight awkwardness wasn't pleasant for me. The dishes were good and generous, the cocktails excellent, the service a little slow, but it was very busy. Another disappointment was when the birthday cake was served. It was a bit embarrassing. I had requested a cake without too much cream when I made the reservation, but what arrived was a very thin tart, about 1 cm thick! It was certainly good, but not up to par for a birthday cake, which was a shame... (especially since customer photos showed beautiful pastries). Luckily, the sparkler-style candles added a nice touch (and especially gave the cake some volume...lol), lit by a very friendly and funny waiter; I think he sensed my disappointment. I would recommend booking online; at least there's a record of what you really want and, above all, you avoid disappointment upon arrival, despite the absolutely magnificent setting. Perhaps they could also update the website with current photos, which is why I ended up calling to get some clarification and make a reservation (e.g., the menu that's no longer offered). I'd been before and we'll gladly return, just more careful when booking next time. It's missing a star for that reason. To end on a positive note, we all appreciated the gesture from management, who offered each of us a glass of champagne in a fantastic musical atmosphere, much enjoyed by our guests and our son for this rather special birthday... Everyone already has fond memories of the evening, and that was my wish. See you soon. 🤗

23/06/2026: Passing through, I ordered some takeaway pizzas and was pleasantly surprised. They were generously topped, the crust was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed them. I highly recommend this establishment.

02/09/2026: The delivery man was incredibly rude. He told me I was being impolite because I was on the phone (even though I had asked the person on the phone to wait until I picked up a package). I saw that a year ago, a man (who was reprimanded for being on the phone…) was shocked by this way of speaking to people like me and left a review… Unacceptable behavior.

26/08/2026: A very good team with excellent service. Their pizzas are made with a thick crust as a base, but if you prefer a thin crust, just ask. They also have a promotion: 3 pizzas of your choice for €20, so don't hesitate if you want to order for a football night or just for a family meal.

02/04/2026: Excellent food and service. Good quality, fresh ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal (for a very reasonable price)! The acoustics are average; you can easily hear the kitchen noise. It's not really bothersome :)

28/03/2026: Visiting this city with my son, and feeling hungry, we opted for this small restaurant. We had lunch on the terrace in the beautiful sunshine. The waiter was pleasant. The dishes were delicious.

21/09/2026: Passionate people who adapt to their customers' wishes, I highly recommend them and I'd like to take this opportunity to make a request because I order from them at least 2 or 3 times a week, even though the price is more than attractive: a loyalty card would be very welcome 🙏🏽😅
