14/06/2026: It's a shame we can't give more than 5 stars! The venue is magnificent, and the staff is very professional and friendly. I booked the patio area for my birthday party, and I can say without hesitation that it exceeded my expectations in every way. Jacqueline created an exceptional decoration. Philippe treated us to a delicious meal. All the guests were so happy. We had a wonderful day. I will definitely return for future events. Thank you to the entire Castel team for your kindness and professionalism.

07/08/2026: This is definitely a hidden gem. I only wish we’d found it on our first night of holiday rather than last . But it was perfect. Lovely setting - we sat outside in the back garden which had a good atmosphere, Lots of happy looking people at busy tables. The main restaurant indoor space also looked like a good setting. Service was attentive , but not in your face, drinks came quickly , and they had a good selection. We were a family of 5 -and they they has something for everyone but the main course was the star of the show . 3 of us had the pasta ragu- which we all agreed was up there as one of the best ever. Good portion, lots of delicious meat and the right amount of sauce. The melanzane parmigiana was apparently one of the best ever also according to one of our family members ! Highly recommend and would definitely have revisited multiple times. Also - everything was a reasonable price and parking was easy and right outside . Thanks to all the staff and the chef !!

22/07/2026: An excellent family-run Italian restaurant with a charming and welcoming atmosphere! The pizzas and other Italian dishes are impeccable (special mention for the Penne al ragù!). A very pleasant experience in a lovely setting.

02/09/2026: The delivery man was incredibly rude. He told me I was being impolite because I was on the phone (even though I had asked the person on the phone to wait until I picked up a package). I saw that a year ago, a man (who was reprimanded for being on the phone…) was shocked by this way of speaking to people like me and left a review… Unacceptable behavior.

26/08/2026: A very good team with excellent service. Their pizzas are made with a thick crust as a base, but if you prefer a thin crust, just ask. They also have a promotion: 3 pizzas of your choice for €20, so don't hesitate if you want to order for a football night or just for a family meal.

30/08/2026: Aside from the plastic chairs on the terrace, the exterior and interior are well-maintained; the service is excellent, the food is delicious, homemade, and plentiful; it feels authentic, unlike some Greek restaurants run by Albanians. The surprise comes at the bill, not because the bill for two comes to €160, but because of the payment method: you're seated at a small table opposite the owner, a grandmother of over 75, who writes out the bill by hand, adds it up in her head, and engages you in a long and pleasant chat. Very good and friendly.
