Charming restaurant on the banks of the Rhône opposite Avignon, perfect welcome, pleasant service by Fabien, excellent dishes from the menu or the daily specials, I highly recommend this place

A truly wonderful discovery! ✨ We were greeted with great kindness, helpfulness, and above all, a smile by the manager, who was absolutely lovely and incredibly attentive. Even though we arrived late and without a reservation, she was incredibly accommodating and accommodating all our requests. The setting is idyllic and charming, perfect for a delightful experience. The cuisine is refined and delicious, and the service reflects the restaurant's character: friendly, attentive, and warm. It's a place where you feel comfortable (even on a stormy day with colleagues), offering genuine hospitality and a real desire to please. We will definitely be back next year for our annual seminar.

Service by Fabian (I thought that was his name), a super friendly, cute man. The food was slightly less impressive in the sense that the bread was rock hard and the potatoes were a bit on the cold side, but otherwise great!

After numerous changes over the years, and some rather negative reviews (more of a tourist trap)... what a pleasant surprise! Finally, good food that this beautiful historic setting deserves!! Bonus features: - very friendly staff, - superbly prepared dishes, - generous portions, - good wine

Beautiful location on the banks of the Rhône

A beautiful setting, but a disappointing experience. The setting is truly lovely, right on the banks of the Rhône. We were even lucky enough to see two barges go by, which made the moment particularly enjoyable. Unfortunately, several aspects of the service and professionalism disappointed us. First, we ordered a bottle of wine, and the waiter left… without opening it. 🤦‍♀️ While he was then taking our order, his manager (or owner) came over and spoke almost in his ear, whispering, while he was with us. We found this particularly inappropriate and disrespectful, both to the customers and to the waiter's work. Despite this interruption, he still managed to correctly rephrase my specific request after his manager left, even though she was still talking to him. A little later, a manager (or owner) came to present us with a dish that wasn't meant for our table. In front of us, he then addressed the waiter, saying openly, "Do you know which table you're supposed to serve?" Again, we found this way of speaking to the staff particularly disrespectful and unprofessional. This kind of remark is perfectly acceptable in private. Regarding the food, I had asked for the cheese to be removed from my plate. This was not done. Fortunately, this request wasn't related to a food allergy, as it could have had much more serious consequences. The price also seems too high for what is offered. On the website, one can read, among other things: "Regional cuisine prepared daily using fresh products, carefully selected from local producers. Here, from the sauce to the dessert—no compromise on authenticity." However, we noted that the fries were frozen and that the tomatoes in the salad were rather bland and very standardized. This seemed quite far removed from the image of fresh, carefully selected products promoted on the website. That being said, the portions were generous, and some dishes were genuinely good and flavorful. So, it wasn't all bad, but given the prices, we expected higher quality and, above all, more professional and efficient service. 👏 A special mention, however, goes to the two young servers, Roman and Maëva, who were smiling, pleasant, and professional from start to finish. You can tell they enjoy interacting with people and their work. Despite some awkward situations and the long wait, they did their best to ensure a smooth experience, and that's worth highlighting. In short: a beautiful setting, generous portions, and some excellent dishes, but an overall experience that left us with mixed feelings due to the wait, the value for money, some of the products, and especially the way the staff were treated in front of customers.
