We opted for the five-course menu and everything was delicious. The service was smooth and pleasant, and the wines offered perfectly suited our preferences and complemented our dishes beautifully. I found the value for money quite reasonable for the evening we spent there.

A wonderful discovery; refined preparation of simple ingredients, surprising and very successful combinations; we will definitely be back to discover other dishes… Bravo to the chef! Furthermore, a dynamic and pleasant welcome; the only slight drawback was the somewhat cold decor… No big deal!

A very good, refined and delicious lunch

We went for lunch as a family at the restaurant Autour d'un Cep. My wife and I enjoyed it, but our two daughters were less impressed, as the menu focused on cauliflower and they aren't big fans of vegetables. The welcome was friendly, the presentation was nice, but the lunch menu was rather limited: two starters, two main courses, and two desserts. The restaurant's decor was simple. Personally, I think they should offer a more accessible menu for people with more traditional tastes who aren't keen on unusual vegetables. The wines by the glass were also quite expensive.

Friends had arranged to meet us at this restaurant for a casual evening. Not necessarily fans of "blind tasting menus" (which are mostly a matter of convenience for restaurants), we were surprised that no one asked us about any allergies or aversions to potentially sensitive foods, especially my wife, who was eight months pregnant, who had to ask if raw milk cheeses were included (which they were). The location of our table was rather unpleasant; we found ourselves isolated between the restrooms and the counter, with an old oven vent blowing a cold draft and a musty smell. The waitress left no room for criticism, offering stock phrases at the end of each course: "I see your plates are empty, I'm not going to ask if you enjoyed your meal." At dessert time, she walked past our table with a small bottle of ice cider and asked, "Could I offer you a small glass to accompany your dessert?" Thinking it was a friendly gesture, we accepted a few centiliters in our glasses. We were dismayed to discover that each half-glass had been charged at 10 euros on the bill, which turned out to be quite hefty for four people: nearly 300 euros for a good meal, certainly, but not justifying such prices.

We had a wonderful time; the cuisine was refined, the service attentive and friendly, and the advice spot-on.

We had heard good things through word of mouth... but it was quite ordinary in the end, even though the dishes were well-prepared. The price made us expect a different experience... very expensive and unjustified. You don't create a "high-end" establishment just by inflating prices... you have to be realistic. They offer you a glass of cider with the cheese, leading you to believe it's a tasting, and then when it comes time to pay: 10 euros a glass! Truly dishonest, but we didn't want to make a fuss... disappointing, unfortunately, we won't be going back.

The dishes are carefully prepared and well-balanced, making for a fantastic experience! The welcome is gentle and warm, everything is very comforting!
