Autrement sur Ussel

I hadn't been back for over a year, very disappointed by my last lunch there, but today, since I was arriving to do my shopping at noon, I decided to try the set menu. And I'm so glad I did. It was excellent and a generous portion. A seafood casserole served with broccoli, carrots, and rice, followed by a delicious dessert (fruit salad, chocolate cream, yogurt cake) for €15.90 (€17.90 if you also order the starter, which was a melon medley). So, I'm going to happily resume my lunches/shopping trips here. My second visit was this Wednesday with a friend, and unfortunately, most of our potatoes were raw, and a few others were so burnt they were inedible. We reported it, but the second batch wasn't much better. What a disappointment! But the service is still very pleasant, with a young woman who is attentive and smiling.
