The food was good, but it's a shame the wines by the glass we ordered weren't. They were between 8 and 10 euros a glass, after all. I think they were natural wines, or perhaps wines without an appellation. Unless you have a politically charged palate. Isn't this how we're increasingly turning consumers away from wine? What a shame.

We had a wonderful time at Bistrot du Pressoir, surprised by the invitations of all our friends for our birthday. There were about twenty of us, and the wine and champagne list was excellent, not to mention the service, which was so professional and friendly! The chef was accommodating and generous. Thank you to the whole team, who, despite being short-staffed, went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic evening.

Unfortunately, our expectations were not met. Based on the many positive reviews, we had expected much more. There was only a very small menu, and a vegetarian option was sadly not available. The service was friendly and attentive, but there was room for improvement. There is indeed a huge selection of wines and champagnes. However, I was very surprised when white wine was poured into my already used champagne glass without my request. This is unacceptable in a restaurant with such high-priced aspirations. Furthermore, it was too cold and drafty; several guests in our party were freezing. The heating couldn't be turned up. The waiter did turn on the air conditioning, but it didn't heat the room; it only blew out cold air. The main course lacked seasoning (especially salt), and the cheese platter was poorly presented. My plate contained only four pieces of cheese without any attractive presentation. Overall, the price-performance ratio was completely off. Disappointed, especially considering the €370 charge for six people.

Lovely spot, delicious food at a fair price, away from the tourist traps. And if you like wine, even if you're not a connoisseur, go for it! Friendly service, helpful advice, and great discoveries...

22/01/2026: Great place for cold cuts pate and smoked salmon complemented by selection of growers champagne at reasonable prices. Helpful n knowledgeable owner and staff. Definitely recommend if into finger food and discover growers champagne.

People come first This is a place where you connect, learn, and have fun with other tables. Wine is not treated as a beverage, but as a portrait — an extension of the people who worked so hard to make it. 3. Generosity Aline and Eric are incredibly knowledgeable and endlessly generous in sharing experiences, stories, and special moments. 4. A masterclass in hosting I’ve never seen better hosts. From orchestrating the wines, to the music, to thoughtfully placing guests together — everything feels natural and perfectly timed. A special shout-out to Anaïs as well — extremely knowledgeable and generous, sharing many resources that helped me continue advancing on my wine journey. Bravo. I can’t wait to come back. 26/08/2026: As Strasbourg locals, we were won over! We ate the best flammekueche we've ever had. For example, even the bacon was excellent quality and had a real local flavor. The wine was recommended perfectly by the incredibly kind waitress throughout the evening. The apple and Calvados flammekueche was absolutely delicious; it was also the best we've ever had. In addition, the interior and exterior settings are very pleasant. Even the playlist was great (Morrissey). From now on, this is our go-to spot in Strasbourg. Thank you!
