Aux Bons Enfants sur Cannes

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while looking for dinner. We were greeted very warmly and immediately told that only set menus were available. However, there were also separate dishes for our two children. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. We really enjoyed our meal!

My favorite restaurant in Cannes. We've been going there for over 15 years. Absolutely love it.

Authentic family restaurant. Packed to the rafters, both inside and out. No chance without a reservation. Three courses with a choice of 4 dishes per course. Great value for money. We enjoyed ceviche as a starter, tuna tataki as the main course, and cheese for dessert. Accompanying it was a bottle of Bandol from Domaine Tempier. The cheerful staff had everything perfectly under control. Lovely!

We didn’t book but got there early and managed to get the last table for the night free (book ahead) all the food and service was outstanding. The staff were amazing and worked an incredibly busy restaurant well. It’s a fixed menu but so well priced for the quality. If we are ever back in Cannes we are coming back here.

The food is a mixed bag: the duck was delicious, but the steak and starters were just average, and the desserts were mediocre. The wine service was a major letdown. We ordered organic wine, but it was brought pre-poured. The waitress didn't show the bottle or offer a taste, and the wine itself tasted like cheap, alcohol-heavy boxed wine. The final straw was the service regarding our child's meal. The waitress explained the options poorly, leading us to believe ice cream was included with a regular main dish, just like in the €14 kids menu. Instead, we were charged €25 for a dish that didn't even have its price listed on the menu, and billed a separate €6 for the ice cream without any warning. When we pointed out the misunderstanding, she didn't offer to comp the ice cream or do anything else to smooth things over. A very disappointing end to the evening.
