Aux Délices D'Amatxi sur Urrugne

Reading the comments, I thought, "Whoa!" Indeed, nothing is up-to-date with the opening hours. I went there on Sunday; I'd read it opened at 4 PM, and being in Biarritz, it's quite a drive, and it was closed. Pffft. On the way back, we went to the Col d'Ibardin, and there it was open. The man told me I had to take it out two hours beforehand. I said, "Really? That long?" And he said, "It's a freezer room." Ah, okay. So it defrosted nicely, and it's fine. But why does it cost €25? Stewed pears and crème brûlée aren't exactly expensive products.

Ideal tea room for a snack, breakfast... excellent coffee, homemade pastries, cakes, breads... I highly recommend it

What a fantastic bakery we found! The French are known for their high standards in pastry shops and bakeries, and this is evident in most of their pastries, which they offer in great variety. We bought the artisan Basque cherry gateau, and it was delicious. They have a lovely seating area for breakfast with comfortable armchairs and chairs, and it's beautifully decorated.

A small, local bakery, very good and well located. However, I think the social aspect needs improvement. Very little interaction. It's not a problem, but it's a shame.

Friendly service, delicious fresh bread, various cakes and other sweet treats. Fresh and artisanal with a sufficiently wide assortment.

So many names, but all very good!!!!

We were warmly welcomed by the owner and enjoyed Basque pastries while comfortably seated in the shop.

Excellent service and products! A small Basque cake for this evening and a very pleasant breakfast on site!
