The food was excellent and the service very pleasant.
We truly had a wonderful time.

05/04/2026: We arrived without a reservation, which I don't recommend, but despite that, we received a very warm welcome. We were lucky enough to discover this restaurant with its excellent, refined cuisine and top-notch staff! ... I promise, next time I'll book... Bravo and thank you again!! 👍

We arrived as a group of four without a reservation (lunch break during a long hike).
The welcome was perfect.
The service was quick despite the number of customers.
The dishes, pizzas, and desserts were excellent, beautifully presented, hot, and generous.
The drinks were very refreshing.
All served with a smile in a cool and relaxed atmosphere.
A BIG THANK YOU!
We'll be back!

You can tell it's local, high-quality produce.
This is our second time here, and we enjoyed it even more than the first. We had sheep's cheese, a vegetable stew with a wonderful flavor, fish and rice with an incredible sauce, and for dessert, crème anglaise with meringue (what a cream! 💘). Everything was delicious.
The service was impeccable—super helpful, very friendly, and professional.
We'll be back!

The food was excellent, local, authentic, and reasonably priced. Well done!

12/03/2026: A very warm welcome... a very friendly team. The baby squid are delicious!!! Don't miss them!!! Thank you.... You can also try (when available) fresh anchovies from Hondarribia... and wow!! A delight... you won't be able to resist!!!

14/03/2026: The bakery is well-stocked. A wide selection of breads, pastries, and sandwiches. I tried the one with Tomme cheese and country ham, and a Basque cherry cake. Delicious.

The pizzas are generous, well-filled, and the crust is just perfect: thin and crispy, just how we like it. Plus, you're always welcomed with a smile and good humor.
02/07/2025: I eat at this pizzeria regularly and have always received excellent service. Very good value for money. The pizzas are very good, with quality ingredients and a good quantity. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the delivery is on time. I highly recommend it!

22/03/2026: Very disappointed with the Amatxi tart for the first time. Frozen for over €25. Not only did the saleswoman give us a hard time about having it refrigerated, which we did, but the leftover tart the next day was inedible.
Furthermore, the service at the Socoa shop was extremely poor!

15/11/2024: J’ai passé un moment incroyable au restaurant Jul et John avec ma copine. L’accueil était chaleureux et le service irréprochable. Le repas était délicieux, chaque plat était parfaitement préparé et savoureux. En plus, ils ont eu la gentillesse de nous offrir des desserts, ce qui a vraiment ajouté une touche spéciale à cette soirée. Les employés sont super sympas et attentionnés. Une adresse à recommander sans hésitation !
