22/02/2026: Good place. Generous and tasty dishes (I had a very generous Milanese veal cutlet, initially served with fries, which I changed to pasta with a mushroom sauce – very good). The bill wasn't too high. I recommend it!
21/02/2026: Visited in: August 2025 --------------------------------- The restaurant is located opposite the tram tracks and Garibaldi Square; I was seated outside, so it was definitely a bit noisier, and there were also some flies. I ordered 6 No. 1 Special Oysters (€29.00), half a crab (€10.00), and a sea urchin tarama (€10.50). All the dishes were served on the same plate with ice cubes underneath. The oysters were extremely fresh (as I ordered the highest quality available), and they went well with the lemon juice. The crab was generously meaty and went very well with the tarama (although it was already delicious on its own). The tarama was a bit too salty on its own, so I suggest eating it with crusty bread. (It's even better to spread butter on bread :) Overall, I had a good experience at the restaurant, especially with the atmosphere and the food.

05/01/2026: It was truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! You absolutely have to experience it at least once in your lifetime. The food was incredible, and the wine pairings were some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The staff was outstanding, with such a deep knowledge of both the food and the wines. To top it all off, we received a beautiful journal from Chef Jan at the end of the night—a thoughtful gift that perfectly captured the essence of such a memorable evening. We’re already planning to visit Chef Jan’s other locations in South Africa. Thank you again for an unforgettable experience! We’ll always cherish this special night.
15/10/2025: It is an impressive journey in JAN in Nice. We can feel the idea the chief would like to bring to us for each dish. Really impressed by the cheese room. The service and vibe are quite good and comfortable. Worth to visiting again! Also the Rusks , it is good!
