Aux Vents Et Marees sur Ault

Very well located in Ault, we discovered this restaurant this Saturday 09/14/2024. The waiter is very friendly and efficient (pleasant humor with customers). The menu is reduced to two starter/main course/dessert options (and cheese). The dishes are good (without being exceptional), it is mainly on the quantity served that we were disappointed given the price. A small plate for the rougail sausages with rice (€15), the same for the sea bream fillet (€23 or 25). No menu and each dish to order, it's a bit expensive to be hungry when leaving the restaurant! Hoping for an adjustment from the restaurateur to adjust the price or, preferably, generosity through quantities!!!

We stopped by on Saturday around 1:30 p.m., delayed elsewhere, the waiter asked us for 5 minutes and our family of 5 people were seated facing the sea. The menu offered many culinary delights, the cooking is made with fresh products, the cooking is very adapted. Palette of confit pork, melting in the mouth, the flavors were there, not one taste better than the other, the tender potatoes and the succulent beans. The apricot financier, served in very generous portions, was also very balanced and delicious. A marvel, the other dishes delighted young and old, from perfect parsley to shellfish and fleshy mussels... all for an average of 23 euros per person (with drinks). Very nice, good food, especially the rice pudding!

The main dish of the day was amazing, the Spritzy Mandarin was well prepared and with a nice refreshing feel. Clean toilet with nice decorations (you can even learn how to swim there: they have a nice picture about it) Nice view and close (really close) to the Casino.

On ne s'attendait pas à ça, l'emplacement est certes parfait, sur le front de mer, mais l'établissement ne laisse pas présager l'excellent moment que nous avons passé. Le service vraiment est très sympa. Mais surtout la cuisine est très bonne, avec des produits locaux (viandes en l'occurrence) de qualité et très bien cuisinés. Et des prix vraiment abordables.

Très bon accueil avec salle vue mer. Le homard était parfaitement cuisiné (une première pour nous). En dessert , les petits choux maison étaient exquis. Depuis le changement de propriétaire, chaque visite est un vrai plaisir. Des produits locaux, de la vraie cuisine, du talent, de la passion ! Ça se retrouve dans les plats ! Merci pour ce bon moment.
