L'Horizon sur Ault

Lots of talk, but the results don't live up to expectations. The menu is sparse, with only two meat and two fish options, which are usually a sign of quality. But after being hyped up about one dish, it turned out to be unavailable: the famous "7-hour shredded lamb." Of course, these things happen, but this should have been mentioned upfront. What a disappointment! The fish substitute wasn't worth the trip. Disappointed, we won't be back.

We had a wonderful time, the view is breathtaking and the quality of the food is exceptional, a culinary experience from every angle, well done for the warm welcome, I recommend without hesitation!

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The view is incredible, and the owners are truly passionate. They know how to transport you with their dishes, which are as beautiful as they are delicious. All the ingredients are local or, at the very least, French. Each dish is presented and explained so you can fully appreciate what you're eating. It's not just a restaurant; it's a true culinary experience.

We had a wonderful evening at L’Horizon. The meal prepared by Chloé was delicious, the view sublime, and the service impeccable, with Jérémy's sharp wit. The prices are a bit high, but honestly, it's well worth it. We loved it and highly recommend it! If we're ever in the area again, we'll gladly return.

A splendid discovery. A tranquil restaurant with a sea view. A sense of service and attentiveness to customers, delivered with class and warmth. Cuisine crafted by true artisans: flavor, meticulous attention to ingredients, local produce, dishes that transcend the ordinary, a genuine culinary approach. Here, the dishes are explained and described, bringing emotion to every plate. My partner and I even shared a second dessert, indulging our passion, to prolong our exploration of our hosts' culinary world. And all for a very reasonable price. We had a better experience here than in some one-Michelin-starred restaurants, and far superior to 99% of the unstarred restaurants we've visited (for a price not much higher than some). A TRUE restaurant for lovers of GOOD food. A haven of gastronomy, like a "black path" described by S. Tesson, miles away from the mass of Tricatel, junk food, and tourist traps. Thank you to Chloé and Jérémy, as well as their kitchen staff. It was a ray of sunshine in our day, as we arrived soaked to the bone after searching in vain for the northern fulmar in the rain and wind along the coast. A moment where beauty and goodness met. I could write pages and pages of praise, with countless details about this moment and this cuisine, but the best thing would be for you to try it!

This is the best French restaurant in the region. Jérémy makes for an excellent waiter, guiding you through the menu. Chloé and Christophe do classic French cooking, and the fish, in particular, is delicious. Check it out, for real.
