We had a wonderful lunch. The eggplant parmigiana was generous and delicious, and the haddock with herb jus served on fresh, lemony new potatoes was a delight. The peach and apricot financier was also delicious! The cuisine is local and homemade. The staff was lovely; we absolutely loved it! ❤️ The restaurant's decor is amazing!

The service was impeccable, with little waiting time, and the staff were very friendly. However, we were quite disappointed with the food, especially considering the restaurant's seaside location. We ordered shrimp as a starter, and they didn't seem fresh at all: they were very waterlogged, as if they had come straight from the freezer, and completely tasteless. This is rather disappointing for a seaside restaurant, where one would expect to enjoy fresh seafood.

Yesterday we were told we had a superb roast lamb, locally sourced. A warm and friendly welcome in a cozy setting. In short, a remarkable lunch at a very reasonable price for its quality. Well done to the whole team.

A rare find, one to treasure. We'd heard good things about it, but this is a real gem. Truly homemade cuisine using local, seasonal ingredients. An inventive chef who respects the flavors. Even the bread was excellent. We'll be back as soon as we can because we haven't found anything better on the coast.

Brasserie Le Saint Pierre

08/09/2026: Lunch at Le Saint-Pierre was an excellent experience. In a delightfully retro setting, somewhere between the Belle Époque in the dining room and the 1950s at the bar, we enjoyed a very good fish and chips, accompanied by delicious desserts, from the chocolate mousse to the tarte tatin. The menu, though fairly short, focuses on seafood and offers homemade, bistro-style dishes, attractively presented but without unnecessary frills. The prices are quite reasonable. Despite the restaurant being very busy, we were seated after only a few minutes' wait. The service was extremely prompt and efficient, with perfect friendliness even though we arrived during the lunch rush. Our meal at Le Saint-Pierre was the highlight of our visit to the charming little town of Ault.

09/09/2026: Lots of talk, but the results don't live up to expectations. The menu is sparse, with only two meat and two fish options, which are usually a sign of quality. But after being hyped up about one dish, it turned out to be unavailable: the famous "7-hour shredded lamb." Of course, these things happen, but this should have been mentioned upfront. What a disappointment! The fish substitute wasn't worth the trip. Disappointed, we won't be back.
07/09/2026: We had a wonderful time, the view is breathtaking and the quality of the food is exceptional, a culinary experience from every angle, well done for the warm welcome, I recommend without hesitation!
