Bagelstein sur Besancon

Friendly and welcoming reception

Super delicious cookie, perfect service

First time eating a bagel, and I followed my sister to this place. Honestly, what a great find! I got a meal deal with a Josephine bagel, an organic blackcurrant drink, and a banana bread. My sister had a Leontine bagel, an iced tea, and a banana crumble. They were really delicious and super soft, plus you can choose your bagel, which is really cool. I went for the "everything" bagel so I got everything, lol. Anyway, I want to thank the waitress, she was so sweet and lovely. I couldn't decide what to get for dessert; I wanted to order three, but she ended up choosing for me. The banana bread was amazing! So thank you again for the service! ☺️🙏

Friendly staff 😃. Tables not cleaned and pigeons nearby, yes, inside. Thanks for the hygiene. Toilet available but outdated sink that malfunctions. Too many posters and good stories.

I come here very often, and this is the first time I've found the staff unpleasant and unfriendly. We felt like we were bothering them, and I ordered a banana smoothie but only got pineapple. It's surprising; usually we're always greeted warmly with a smile and polite greetings.

Hello. We came to eat lunch today. The service was complicated; there were no cold drinks. Drinks were retrieved from a storage area as orders were placed and put in a small refrigerator under the counter. The refrigerated drinks display didn't seem to be in use and was only partially filled. The drinks we were served weren't cold, and the waitress had no ice available. For everyone's comfort, the restrooms were out of order, and we couldn't wash our hands before eating because the taps had no water. "Very pleasant moments that we shared." Go elsewhere and try Papa Burger, which is just ten meters away 😉

Delicious pastries. Good coffee.

Too expensive, impeccable service, we got tired of the decor...

Had a lovely pistachio cookie and an espresso. The server was very friendly and professional. There's music but you can easily have a conversation. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. A high quality experience if you need a break.

I wanted to share some thoughts on the amazing service! While the cashier didn’t realize they’re always trying to communicate and offer suggestions, it’s a great effort. I would love to visit again!
