This is the place to come and try some beautiful Bordeaux wines at exceptionally low prices, and served by super knowledgeable staff. The cheese and meat platters, which are amazing (and inexpensive), make an excellent pairing. Remember you’re in France, and wait in line, don’t try and find a table yourself, you’ll be told off!
We wanted to try somewhere in Bordeaux for wine tasting & Le Bar à Vin came highly recommended. The interior is just beautiful with high ceilings in an art-filled space. Excellent selection of wines for fantastic prices. The staff are really the highlight. We were lucky to be served by a fantastic male server who had visited Ireland and was able to speak to us about our culture which was honestly so lovely and welcoming! He was very helpful and friendly, recommending which wines would suit our taste best. Great way to relax in Bordeaux for a couple of hours and try a variety of quality wines. Highly recommend, 5 stars!
