07/07/2025: We spent two days at Gaëlle and Hervé's establishment, located next to a magnificent, well-equipped lake. We had planned a weekend with our four children, their partners, and our grandchildren to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Our goal was to spend time together as a family, away from it all, enjoying a beautiful setting and eating local produce. Gaëlle went the extra mile to meet our expectations, down to the smallest detail. At Les Berges de Parelou, we found everything we hoped for and even more. Sleeping in large, clean, quiet rooms with beautiful bathrooms and good-quality bedding already ticked several important boxes for our stay, but Gaëlle and her husband make all the difference compared to many other good-value establishments. The swimming pool and large games room are among the highlights of this place. The managers of this business are not only professional, but they are also kind, caring, and truly very friendly. Hervé's mother continues to work behind the bar, much to our delight, and I hope they keep their young waitress for a long time, as she is a real asset in the dining room. If you come visit them, you will, like us, enjoy excellent local produce and succulent desserts prepared with passion and generosity by Hervé. Gaëlle is a woman who devotes herself selflessly to her business. You will find her at reception, in service, and in accounting, of course, but also in the kitchen when necessary, or making beds to help her young assistant. Despite their fatigue, everyone keeps smiling so that you can spend a moment without thinking about tomorrow...

09/06/2025: Very warm welcome. Attentive staff. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Traditional and hearty cuisine. Excellent value for money. We recommend!
