Bar Des Halles sur Azay-Le-Rideau

Unfriendly service and a lack of customer service. We ordered two shandy, an ice cream sundae, and an iced tea for our grandson. Since he didn't finish his drink, we simply asked if we could take the rest of his bottle home to avoid waste. To our surprise, we were flatly refused, on the pretext that the bottle was returnable, without any alternative being offered. We fully understand the principle of a deposit system, but a little flexibility and courtesy would have been appreciated. This rather unprofessional attitude unfortunately makes us not want to return.

We ate there twice and it was very good; the owner and the cook are very friendly.

Very good omelet, fries, and excellent crème brûlée. Good atmosphere and friendly owner.

Great food and excellent service

On the recommendation of our Airbnb host Guillaume, we came for dinner. Good value for money. Friendly and welcoming staff. No frills. Simple and efficient.

Simple but delicious food. Very friendly service. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely time on the terrace as a family. The staff were very pleasant. The food was good (the andouillette was excellent), and we chose the homemade desserts, which were perfect. All of this was accompanied by local wines, both white and red, which were also surprisingly good.

Very good, it's a simple place but we ate very well. Very good price.

Located next to the small church in Azay. Good and generous portions. The service is quick and professional. No complaints. The waitress and waiter were friendly and kind.

Excellent brasserie! We had a wonderful meal and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Very family-friendly; they spontaneously offered us a cushion to prop up our youngest child – a thoughtful touch that was truly appreciated 😊 A very enjoyable experience, we highly recommend it!
