Cute little place near the chateaux with decent options for a quick lunch. Had this fun little duck burger called the ‘coin coin’ which when pronounced in French sounds like a quack. So it was literally the burger quack quack. The fun part of the burger was the potato bun, made it more gourmet feeling.

A small brasserie ideally located in the center of Azay-le-Rideau and just steps from the castle, although other places are even closer.
A very pleasant terrace. As for the food, it's more about assembly than cooking: simple but not bad, and the prices are reasonable.
I recommend it for a quick lunch break.

An ideal spot for a simple meal near the Château d'Azay-le-Rideau. You can immediately tell that everything on your plate is homemade. Simple, good, and affordable cuisine, and the service is friendly. More brasseries should be like this. I would recommend the main courses more than the desserts, though.
