16/06/2026: Passing by on my bike with an irresistible craving for ice cream, Biscuithé was open. The welcome was very pleasant and friendly. The ice creams came in a variety of excellent flavors. A lovely place where you feel right at home.

03/05/2026: A superb restaurant not to be missed! What an excellent time I had at Q de Bouteille in Azay-le-Rideau! First, I must emphasize the exceptional quality of the food: it's truly "homemade" with superb ingredients, an authenticity that shines through in every bite and is sadly all too rare these days. A real treat! Next, a very special mention and a huge thank you to the waitress. Working on May 1st, she was completely on her own managing everything (dining room, service, etc.) and yet remained remarkably available, efficient, and kind. Genuine cuisine and top-notch service: I highly recommend it!

21/06/2026: Cute little place near the chateaux with decent options for a quick lunch. Had this fun little duck burger called the ‘coin coin’ which when pronounced in French sounds like a quack. So it was literally the burger quack quack. The fun part of the burger was the potato bun, made it more gourmet feeling.

28/05/2026: A wonderful spot that is a must for a special meal in the area. It’s obviously not cheap, but we all walked away talking about how it felt like amazing value for how wonderful the food, wine pairing, and service was. A very special evening that we’d highly recommend!

13/05/2026: We had dinner and stayed one night at this establishment and were delighted with our choice. The meal (a seven-course menu for us) was served in a beautiful, contemporary dining room with a view of the surrounding nature. It was flawless, both in terms of the cuisine (refined and inventive) and the service. The only slight criticism was that the portions were a little too generous to truly appreciate the end of the meal and the petit fours offered with coffee. We opted to stay in the cabin-style rooms: an excellent choice! They are very spacious, beautifully decorated, and one of the two had a view of the surrounding nature (unfortunately, the other overlooked the back of the neighbors' house at the end of the garden). The bathroom has a freestanding bathtub and a walk-in shower. Absolutely fantastic!

30/12/2025: I stayed here last May with my family on a trip through France and Germany. This hotel was very nice. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. However my favorite part of this town were the cats. We had been in France for 3-4 days and I did not see any cats. I missed mine back home very much. When we arrived late at night there were several near the shops and hotel.

13/11/2025: Comfortable hotel in the heart of the city. The castle is a 5-minute walk away. Spacious and comfortable room. Highly recommended!
