Passing through Bayonne, vacation time. A really good place, warmly welcomed despite a lot of people waiting to get a table. A very nice menu, where you can discover local gastronomy. Value for money, nothing to say! We have very good memories.

Never had such fast service! The waiters and waitresses are very responsive and warm without being stuffy! The cuisine is correct with rather generous quantities. The setting is nice with a terrace which leads onto the adjacent square while taking advantage of the shade of the street. Thank you for this meal!

Great Restaurant/Bar! Very satisfied with my meal at their place. No waiting between dishes and very well done and smiling service. A cuisine that also delights, no need for more. Finally, a friendly atmosphere on the Place des Halles.

Family visit to Bayonne and lunch at “Bar François”! Great time, very pleasant staff, funny, helpful and friendly manager, homemade food with local and fresh products, very reasonable prices… We highly recommend!

Very good restaurant from the Bayonne ham board to dessert. Very friendly, smiling, dynamic and attentive staff. Very good value for money. Thank you.

En promenade à Bayonne nous avons déjeuné par hasard au Bar François. Un accueil super et souriant. Nous avons choisi le menu du jour et ma femme un plat direct.Œuf parfait à la basquaise , saucisse de Toulouse ou xipirons tout était copieux parfaitement assaisonné .Rapport qualité prix excellent et en prime un shooter offert par le patron.

04/09/2024: In a lounge musical atmosphere, we had the pleasure of sharing several starters. Everything was fresh and homemade. The cecina croquettes, 3 in number, were well stocked and very good. Accompanied by a little wasabi mayonnaise to spice it all up. The duck breast was cooked to perfection accompanied by polenta. Everything came together very well and the seasoning was well done. Regarding the lobster roll, it was delicious and tasty. The brioche was tender, the pieces of lobster and prawns were very present.

20/08/2024: Very good, not too expensive and very friendly staff. If you have a train to wait I can only advise you to stop there
