Bar LE PASSAGE sur Sete

Discovered Pointe Courte today, an absolutely charming and authentic neighborhood. We then stopped at this restaurant and were able to sit by the canal. The meal was delicious, the cuttlefish stew excellent, though it could have been served a little hotter. The frito misto was very generously portioned with cuttlefish, prawns, and baby squid in tempura batter, all delicious and accompanied by new potatoes and a green salad. To finish, very good ice cream. However, there was a small issue: there was a mistake on the bill, as three desserts and two coffees were charged extra. We only noticed it when we got home! That said, we'll definitely be back!

Perhaps the best macaronade in Sète, excellent specialties and a warm welcome to boot. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended after visiting the Pointe Courte district.

We had a very good meal! Sea bream, risotto, prawns, macaronade, gratinated oyster, tarte tatin, etc… we spent about €40 per person (aperitif + main course + dessert (+1 starter).) The value for money was excellent! The servers were pleasant. The wait between courses wasn't noticeable at all! However, we had booked in advance by phone for 6 people for 12 pm. Upon arrival, our table wasn't ready, and we had to ask someone to seat us. During the meal, a small dog belonging to another customer (off-leash) kept coming to our dog at the table. Our dog was very uncomfortable with this situation, and neither were we. We tried several times to get the small dog out from under the table. Furthermore… this same small dog kept begging for food at every table… I think it would be wise to have some supervision. More attention is paid to this type of situation, even though it falls under the responsibility of the small dog's owner. However, we had a pleasant time!

Fantastic restaurant! With delicious Sète specialties… cuttlefish with rouille sauce, macaronnade, fish soup, tiele… everything was delicious… great service and a very charming location by the water… I highly recommend it!!

Having visited several times six years ago, we found the same delicious flavors in this high-quality cuisine. The atmosphere is warm and reflects the Sète we love!

Fantastic restaurant with an amazing grilled cuttlefish. Perfectly cooked! The young man and woman serving lunch today were absolutely lovely! We highly recommend this place in this little corner of fishermen's huts.
