After a stroll through the market, nothing beats a ravioli gratin at this restaurant. The service was quick, the food plentiful and delicious, and the presentation was lovely, all at a reasonable price.
I'd gladly return.

As a regular, I can say it's always delicious and well-served. The atmosphere is like a brasserie, very friendly.
The seasonal menu is reasonably priced despite the quality. Finally, a restaurant where you can eat well without breaking the bank!

We stopped there for lunch.
The setting is nice, except for the main road with its heavy truck traffic.
We had a Rock Balboa burger and a ravioli gratin (Vercors style).
The burger was very good and huge.
The gratin, however, was very dry, with no cream; it had all been absorbed.
No dessert.

Not exactly my best dining experience. I ordered beef tartare; the beef was okay, but the preparation, with its various colored sauces, didn't impress me at all. My wife had a salad, which wasn't much better. The bill was reasonable, though, under €30 per person. There are other restaurants in Tain with similar prices; I've tried them and they offer much better value for money.

The food is good, and the waiters and staff are friendly.
BUT...the service is extremely slow.
I waited two and a half hours for my main course and dessert.
My neighbors at the next table went without dessert, tired of waiting.
My other neighbor left after waiting a very long time without being able to order. I wasn't in a hurry because I was waiting for my car to charge, but there was no time to explore the city after such a long wait.
A little reorganization of the table service is needed.
Visited at the end of August 2026.

A big thank you to a very friendly team. Arriving with a lot of luggage, they were very accommodating. And as a bonus, the ravioli were delicious, as was the accompanying salad. And very generous portions. A great place to eat. I highly recommend it.
