Café de Nice sur Tain-L'Hermitage

I go there from time to time to have coffee, a shady spot right in the centre of Tain l'Hermitage.

A perfect lunch in a calm and cool atmosphere on the terrace, a delight for both the main courses and desserts. We loved the refreshing hibiscus, lime, and mint infusion, but a special mention goes to the service! A warm welcome, attentive and courteous service (we had mentioned we were in a hurry) – truly remarkable professionalism! Thank you again! We will be back!

A pleasant place with simple and effective dishes accompanied by a good Crozes Hermitage.

We came for lunch as a group of nine, including five children. The service was very friendly, the salads were generous, and the food was delicious. A wonderful family meal!

We were just passing through and stopped in Tain l'Héritage to visit the Valrhona factory. We decided to extend our visit by having lunch at Le Nice restaurant, a very beautiful establishment where we received a very warm welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed the prawn pasta, the beef tartare (which, by the way, was very well cut), and the crayfish ravioli gratin, which was delicious and served in generous portions. For dessert, we had a superb apricot tiramisu, very refreshing in the heat, as well as two gourmet coffees, which were very enjoyable, and a surprisingly good coffee. The only negative point was the mini strawberry tiramisu included in the gourmet coffee; it was a little past its prime, with the mousse on top drying out. In any case, it was a good experience, and we'll definitely keep the address in mind for next time.
