We loved our final evening meal of the holiday at La Marine. My wife recommends the baby squid and black pudding - one of the best dishes she has ever eaten.

A great meal shared in an outdoor setting. Very attentive and personable Service. Able to communicate in English and French nothing was too much trouble, and anticipated our needs. We both enjoyed our seafood dinner.

Uffff very very very rich. Seriously, everything we ordered was delicious! The recommendation is the truffled Camembert, the pâté and the Hake!

This little restaurant is a real pleasure! The squids with Bigorre blood sausage were succulent and the tuna steak was nicely cooked 😀 thanks to the entire La Marine team!

Served by a charming, multi-lingual lady who clearly has the people skills required for her job in abundance. We chose for our main course a merlu(fish) to share. It was cooked exquisitely with a jus to complement it and natural, root veg and a salad. No potato-great for a change! Cannot fault this place or its staff, hence a perfect score

Nous ne connaissions pas mais les avis très positifs sur TripAdvisor nous ont incités à pousser la porte (attention, réserver car le restaurant n'est pas grand). Nous nous sommes régalés d'une plancha de jambon, 2 cassolettes de chipirons/boudin + large bol de légumes et pour finir gâteau basque pour l'un et double sorbet pour l'autre. De tête, environ 75 euros (sans vin, ni cafés). C'était très bon, équilibré et l'accueil est sympathique.

28/07/2024: Passing through Biarritz where we discovered by chance this good restaurant with home-made cuisine I recommend the local plate and the cod casserole as well as the profiteroles with very helpful staff very fast service to highly discover 👍

24/08/2024: Un peu de folie et d’arrogance pour pimenter le tout. Décoration triste, personnel éteint et plat sans surprise. Expérience expéditive, une heure pour dîner… Ambiance vraiment froide sur tous les points. La fantaisie et l’harmonie sont vraiment manquantes pour une table de femme que je me faisait un plaisir de découvrir.
26/07/2024: Very nice modern atmosphere, great food in the Decouvertes menu. Wine accompaniment ok, but not spectacular. Also not very advertised by the not overly friendly waiter. It's not very empathetic to answer in English when you speak reasonable French just because you're obviously a tourist. Overall, a successful restaurant visit
