Very pleasant bar in Troyes where you can have a drink and eat. The tree-lined terrace is a great highlight. Very friendly staff! Place with a beautiful atmosphere located in the heart of Troyes! Recommended place to have a good time!

Goede sfeer, beetje "bruin café". Prima bier. Gemengd hapjesplankje "Planche mixte" heel aardig. Aanrader. Ben naar andere bars geweest, kom toch hier weer terug.

21/09/2024: Another moment of conviviality spent at the Hippopotamus, very good food, good atmosphere, special mention to Frédérick our dynamic server who was attentive and warm, we will come back!
21/09/2024: Very good meal, and an excellent atmosphere, in particular thanks to Yasmina who knew how to make us have an incredible time in her way of being with us, who knew how to adapt to our humor, which allowed us to laugh together while ordering the dishes! 16/09/2024: We came to eat in the evening, we were seated straight away (reservation) The order was taken quickly, warm welcome. The proportions are generous and we ate well. The downside we were placed next to a door leading to the terrace, a door which was open throughout our meal and never closed... As a result, we had to close the door each time we passed and put the coat back on to eat.
09/09/2024: A very pretty place, excellent cuisine, the service is very pleasant as long as you hear the notes of humor 😉 A special mention for the fruit plate which is well stocked with fresh and tasty fruit.
