Passing through the region, the beef tartare was amazing, the duck breast skewer was excellent, and the homemade fries were a real trip down memory lane.
Everything was delicious.

Simplicity, conviviality, warmth… We stumbled upon the café quite by chance late in the afternoon, caught in the rain… We immediately wanted to stay for dinner… And we weren't disappointed! The lamb was excellent, the owner let us taste a delicious wine… the desserts were equally impressive.
But above all, the welcome was so warm! Places like this are becoming rare.

Delicious leg of lamb served twice! The potato gratin, with its garlicky flavor, and a small side salad—the house specialty!
Delicious homemade foie gras paired with a glass of red wine.
Efficient, friendly, and courteous service.
The interior dining room is very pretty and bright.

At the recommendation of a local starving artist, a 2pm "lunch" for two American visitors consisted of two orders of lamb
(shaved thin slices in a reduction sauce), potato slices baked in a creamy cheese sauce with leaks, two smaller but tasty salads, one glass of.local red wine and a glass of white wine, and one order of Tarte Tatin for less than 80€ . If that seems like a lot, you don't appreciate what terrific food you are in for. After 2 weeks in St Remy this was the image I had of classic Provençal cooking. We were seated outside on a ring road around St Remy and the traffic was pretty intense, but the food was so good the traffic was a mild blur.

I'm sitting on the terrace, witnessing a scene where a waiter with red glasses humiliates a woman because she didn't say "Hello" when she asked for a table. He also yelled at her when she tried to apologize for not saying hello (she was speaking Spanish), and told her she couldn't enter the restaurant. He made the woman cry; he was so rude! Was that really necessary?! This attitude is unacceptable!
Good lamb dishes. I eat here often, but this little tragedy affects the way I view this restaurant, as it probably has for others.
