Great place to spend a good time with friends, good selection of beers and very good tapas!! Very friendly staff + a view of Lyon :)

Super relaxed atmosphere, efficient and friendly service. A space that offers the necessary rest after the climb up to the Croix Rousse plateau.

Baraabar is a great spot, but it's really the people behind the bar who make it a magical place. The staff have that extra something that transforms a simple drink into a wonderful shared experience. A super warm welcome, helpful advice, and a genuine kindness that warms the heart. You come for the place, you come back for the team. Thanks to mogo, Teodora (without the h), and monarose for their contagious good humor!

I'm a craft beers lover, so we had dinner at this brewery and our experience was mixed. The place is very nice, there's a beautiful view of the city in the square where the pub is faved, with tables outside in a pleasant location. For food: Had a terrine, which was ok, although it's just a jar out of the fridge with a bit of bread. I liked it anyway. We had also a cheese pizza that was pretty much disappointing: the center was very wet and soggy, which made the texture unpleasant and "humid". Could be eaten, anyway. Good choice of beer, some of them were enjoyable, but other less, everything seeming a bit watered down. The Saint Cru's Orange mechanique is a good one, i remembered when i went to their brewery in Colmar a couple of years ago... They're a great brewery! The waitress and waiter were nice and kind, but about the service: there is essentially none, since customers must place their orders and collect their food at the counter. For this reason, we were surprised to be asked (just asked , not demanded) for a tip for the service when paying. The booking from their website has never been answered. What I found most disappointing, however, was reading the management's responses to some negative reviews. Rather than taking constructive feedback as an opportunity to improve, I've read replies they even come across as unfriendly toward customers who do not write in French, which leaves a poor impression, especially if you notice we're in the 21st century. Overall, there is room for improvement, and better places nearby.

Absolutely fantastic!! Superb food, I highly recommend the Nachos, a bit noisy but nice for an evening with friends.

Their cocktails are truly awful to drink, I had to down them in one go... Otherwise, their appetizer platters are great for the price, quantity, and quality!
