Basilic & Co sur Romans-Sur-Isere

We usually get our pizzas to go, and they're always very good, but today's waitress was appalling. She didn't apologize on behalf of the establishment when I told her that two weeks prior, our pizzas weren't the ones we had ordered, and of course, she offered no compensation whatsoever. She was condescending when I asked her to open the boxes to check, since I live 4 km from the restaurant. After that, I had to insist that she admit she'd made a mistake on the bill… and still no apology. I remained polite, but this young woman seems to think she's something special, and it's a shame for the restaurant's reputation.

Arriving as a couple around 1:30 pm, we received a very warm welcome. We enjoyed a delicious vegetable pizza that we had requested but which wasn't on the menu, and they were able to make it for us. Thank you to the very friendly, responsive, and helpful staff. We hope this vegetable pizza will be back on the menu in the spring.

The pizzas are good, but not exceptional. They advertise artisanal products and craftsmanship, but for the price, we expect a bit more... Oh well, I tried it, but I won't be repeating it.
