Go and try some delicious cakes at BAUD! That's what a friend told me when I asked her for a good place to find pastries in Besançon. She was absolutely right, and I'm very grateful for this excellent recommendation. You absolutely must try their "Castel" cake! That said, don't get me wrong: all their cakes looked very tempting.

We tried the quiche yesterday, and the kids also took some macarons home. We also had cappuccino. Everything was delicious, and the service was very friendly. Unfortunately, we didn't have an appetite for cake, because it looked fantastic!

The ice cream is excellent and the pastries look very tempting. I didn't try them because after a huge ice cream, my stomach screamed: stop! A very nice shop and friendly staff.

I received a very warm welcome and excellent service. The milk chocolate shortbread was superb, not to mention the chocolates themselves. The quality and expertise are evident! It's wonderful to find places like this; you can really feel the passion in their products. 🧡

08/04/2026: I just had a Serrano ham, goat cheese, pesto, and sundried tomato sandwich. Excellent! It's €5.90, but the bread is fresh and delicious, and the filling is too, so I prefer to pay a little more than at a bakery where the sandwiches are practically empty, just bread. I recommend this place if you want quality food quickly and to feel satisfied.

30/08/2026: Great hotel for a road trip stop! We stayed here for a night during our trip and were really impressed by the bright and unique design featuring cool industrial gear patterns on the walls. The vibrant green sink and sleek shower design added a fun, modern touch to the stay. Both the bedroom and the bathroom were absolutely spotless. The bed was large and cozy with fresh linens, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast was good. While the selection was on the smaller side, it had everything you need — cheese, cold cuts, eggs, yogurts (including vegan options), and, of course, delicious coffee to start the day. The hotel provides free parking, and finding a spot was completely problem-free in the night. It is a huge plus that they welcome pets with no issues. We would definitely stay here again.
15/06/2026: I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The young staff, Justine and Florian, as well as Ramage, the hotel's intern, were very welcoming to me every evening. But I have absolutely nothing to say about the rest of the team, whose names I don't know, but they were all very kind and helpful. See you soon! 🤗
