Belles Rives Braises & Condiments, France sur Trevoux

On a friend's recommendation, we tried this riverside restaurant and were won over by the quality of the hanger steaks and salmon fillets. The setting is peaceful, and the "Caprice" side of the Rhône is delicious ;-) I highly recommend this place and would gladly return :-)

Further to my review: we tried the restaurant's terrace! The food was excellent, just like the first time (takeout). The service was flawless. There was a view of the Saône River. The prices were a bit higher than usual, but you're definitely paying for the setting (and the peace and quiet, and the concept). The presence of a baby changing table in the restrooms was a welcome touch. I would have liked to give it 4.5/5, but that rating isn't available. It's a shame the glasses were so damaged. It's almost the first thing you notice, apart from the overall look. So it doesn't give a good impression before you even start eating. The terrace is inviting; we'll come and try it sometime! The takeout dishes come in appropriate containers, and explanations are provided. The recipes are elaborate and original, and very tasty. Even the smallest details are considered (the rum baba is already soaked, but with a small extra charge so everyone can adjust the amount). I recommend it!

A beautiful spot overlooking the Saône. Very pleasant and responsive staff. A great relaxing time.

Highly recommended! The meat was wonderful, and the salad and crème brûlée were fabulous. The service was also top-notch, with very attentive staff. Eating outside is lovely, but be sure to bring mosquito repellent. I'd love to come back. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Very good, beautiful setting, guaranteed tranquility, but the waiter was a little rushed to clear the table.

We had dinner for two and the Angus bavette steak was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend it. We've been several times without leaving a review 😅

A pleasant time in a beautiful place

The service was incredibly friendly. The food was excellent, with fresh, high-quality ingredients, everything homemade, including the salad dressing...delicious! Don't hesitate if you want to treat yourself!
