Bernachon sur Lyon

The salespeople are friendly, the cashiers less so…. And there’s a bit of a stuffy atmosphere…. But the quality of the products is completely up to the prices displayed.

Excellent chocolate products. Too bad the staff there are snobbish and inhospitable.

Renowned chocolatier in Lyon. One of the specialties is the absolutely delicious hedgehog cake. Quality products, chocolates from various origins. The tea room restaurant is also very good. Warm, cozy, almost English atmosphere for tea time!

Very beautiful pastry-chocolate shop products of excellent quality A slight downside on the cooking of the Nanterre brioche, which is often too browned but which is otherwise tasty when cooked just golden! The small and large cakes are exceptional and traditional as we love Maybe the prices can be high for some people 🤷

Visiting this Wednesday morning for the first time, superb window, small downside for the reception, one of the employees was not welcoming, contemptuous, cold welcome, ridiculous receipt system for collection!

Certainly a little expensive, but what a treat and what a beautiful house of Lyon tradition.

Barnachon's reputation is well established! The quality of the products offered is perfect. Don't forget the quality of the welcome which can disappoint..

2nd comment: It is 07/16/2024 and I have just received my 2nd order of BERNACHOC' pots. Parcel arrived in Marseille perfectly packaged and impeccable delivery on the day announced by Chronopost. We're going to devour it all over the summer. The pots arrived very quickly in secure packaging. The DLCs are long enough for foodies! I gave 4 jars to my work colleagues and I kept 5 for us... but... I bitterly regret it this evening, after tasting this delicious spread! With our friendly greetings from Marseille :-)

What a welcome, what services, excellent

There are two stores next to each other, one that only sells chocolate and the other where you can sit and enjoy tea time, so you can choose the dessert you want to eat in advance at the chocolate showroom and order the menu you want! All the desserts had mini versions, so it was nice to be able to order multiple desserts I wanted to try 🥰 Since it's a chocolatier, I expected chocolate, but contrary to my expectations, the chocolate was average and the desserts were actually more delicious.
