A top-notch brasserie bar. Ideal for a lunch break overlooking the sea or for a game of darts, billiards or table football. Friendly and cheerful staff. A good spot after swimming or surfing. Ideal for eating a good triple smash type burger which is excellent, but the menu is comprehensive, there is something for everyone.

Nice, but a major drawback. The cigarette smoke from people on the covered terrace is very bothersome for non-smokers, even when seated inside or in the enclosed glass area. This means I go there less and less often...

Facing the ocean, Bi Ur Arte is the perfect place to enjoy a drink or a meal overlooking Hendaye Bay. A pleasant terrace, superb light at the end of the day, and a relaxed atmosphere. A true seaside experience.

Had lunch at this restaurant with my family - a very atmospheric place, the girl who served us spoke French, Spanish and English, was very friendly. The food was very tasty, we liked everything. The restaurant is located right on the shore, so while having lunch we could watch the waves crashing onto the shore. Many thanks to the owner and staff for the welcome and atmosphere!

04/01/2026: We received a very warm welcome despite our late arrival. Our little dog was also very welcome. We had a very good lunch; the galettes were excellent and the ingredients were high quality. We had a very pleasant time.
27/12/2025: The cookies were delicious, the service was excellent, we had ordered the savory and sweet ones separately, and they recommended we order the "special offer". The atmosphere of the place was wonderful, a quiet and welcoming spot. As soon as we sat down, they put a bottle of fresh water on the table. We had a very pleasant meal there.

23/01/2026: I stopped by Hendaye on my layover on my way from Paris to San Sebastian. There's a wine shop at the front of the entrance and a wine bar at the back. They have a wide selection of wines by the glass, as well as beer and liqueurs. They also have a wide selection of tapas. The portions might be a little too much for one person. There didn't seem to be an English menu, but the staff were happy to assist me in English. They were very friendly and I felt at home.😊
16/12/2025: As always, the staff are great and the variety of products is excellent.
