Bijou Bar sur Vendays-Montalivet

One of the very few restaurants where you get something for your money. The service is friendly and special requests are fulfilled. Only when it's full do the employees seem overwhelmed, but that's the case elsewhere too. Unfortunately it is often unbearably loud in the restaurant so we always try to sit outside.

Lunch on the terrace this afternoon, the menu at 18€50. It was very good. The veal liver with garlic and parsley and top gratin dauphinois, and my husband's fried hake fillet. We finished with the crème brûlée. Very good, nothing to complain about, value for money. The interior is dated, a refresh would be necessary. But on the plate in any case perfect. The service very good with the young man.

Delicious meal whatever your choice, no waiting. Soft atmosphere by the sea. Attentive and friendly staff. Go for it !

Dinner on the terrace with the absolutely perfect sunset! All the servers were available to meet our needs and explain the menus to us with a smile. The low prices and the decor may dissuade you from settling in but dare if you are not prout prout, simple but delicious cuisine with perfectly adequate portions. For my part, the hake fillet was cooked perfectly accompanied by a white mushroom sauce and fresh vegetables (carrots, green beans, puree, etc.) browned in parsley, frankly 10/10, for dessert the crème brûlée: divine. Simplicity pays off, keep it up!

Been coming here again and again for years. Small no-frills restaurant. Very good mussels. This year we are here again.

Certainly the decor does not make you dream, however the kitchen does, everything was fresh, very fragrant, very good, nothing to say

Nous avons mangé le meilleur couscous de toute notre vie. Il est servi du vendredi au dimanche . Énorme, copieux, délicieusement parfumé et généreux. Si vous passez par Montalivet, n’hésitez surtout pas ! 23€ la part qui correspond à deux voire trois fois ce que nous mangeons habituellement
