I can't comment on the food since I took refuge there at the end of the day, caught in a downpour, for a hot cup of tea. I can, however, attest to the excellent service provided by a very gracious, professional, and efficient waiter. The portions were very generous and the quality was very good, all for a very reasonable price. I will definitely return to eat there; the menu is affordable and offers a wide variety of dishes.

We were a group of six friends for dinner. The food was excellent, from the appetizer to the dessert: bean salad, confit pork with mashed potatoes, and then a superb panna cotta with red berries. The cuisine was truly outstanding.
However, the service was considerably disappointing. The waitress was rather unpleasant and didn't really react when we pointed out that the bread was soggy or the tomatoes were hard. Instead of apologizing or simply saying she would pass on the information, her response was: "Oh well, that's all we have." It's a shame, because with such good food, a warmer welcome and service would have really improved the experience.

You do not necessarily come for the food although it is good enough for me. You come for what made st Tropez st Tropez. The atmosphere, the music, the mix of people, people dancing on the quay in front of the cafe. There are now two places easy going this one and les Halles. Go, ‘c’est génial’ as French say. Very reasonable prices compared to the rest of the world!
