Café Le Régent is a really great place to eat. The coffee is very good, and they also have other sweet treats. It's perfect for relaxing on the terrace, which is quite large and offers a beautiful view of the church in Caen.

We arrived at 5:30 pm for a pre-dinner drink. We received a very warm welcome and our order was taken quickly. Ten minutes later, we were served drinks and platters. The presentation was lovely and the food was delicious.

28/03/2026: A wonderful time in the heart of Caen! A warm and welcoming reception from the staff. My wife and I had a very good lunch. The tuna tataki was perfectly prepared, as were the truffle burger and the veal casserole. The atmosphere is truly fantastic. We were pampered and looked after very well. A genuine and sincere 5 stars for this restaurant! We will gladly return very soon.
