Excellent place! Warm welcome, good service and very good food on a very pleasant terrace!

Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Quick service. The menu is simple and efficient, and the requested meat was cooked exactly as ordered. Good staff.

Simple but good dishes, however the matchstick fries are of very average quality, in short expensive for what is on the plate.

Good evening. This is the first time I've come to this restaurant with my sweetheart and I don't regret it at all. My goat cheese hamburger was super good, yum, it's my favorite, perfectly cooked, I love it! Excellent with dessert, the flourless chocolate cake was so good with ice cream and whipped cream, so good. We'll be back. However, when I wanted to go to the restroom, the person didn't flush, and that's disgusting. I'm disappointed about that. I had to remind the lady before leaving. It's a shame that's the only thing in the rating. I would have liked to give it 100 out of 100 because it was so delicious! The decor is very nice. Oh, I forgot, it would have been nice if they had decorations for Valentine's Day, balloons for Valentine's Day. Too bad, I almost forgot. They are so kind, and she's there. The lady and the very smiley gentleman bring good cheer when they sing, and the lady at the bar is very kind, smiling, and pleasant. Saturday, February 14, 2026

We often come as a family to Bistrot Régent in the Épagny shopping arcade. The place is calm and pleasant, especially in the evening, allowing us to enjoy a convivial moment without noise or hustle and bustle. The food is simple but very good: generous salads, well-cooked meat or fish, and above all, the famous all-you-can-eat fries! The value for money is truly excellent. The staff is always welcoming, warm, and attentive, which greatly contributes to the relaxed atmosphere. An address we wholeheartedly recommend for a pleasant, unpretentious, and always successful family meal!

Returning from La Plagne to our Champagne region, we had the chance to try this bistro, and it was a very pleasant surprise. Charlène and her colleagues gave us a wonderful welcome. They were attentive and took great care of us. Thank you for this lovely and delicious stop. Everything was tasty.

EDIT: I went back, the salad used to be all-you-can-eat, but it's not anymore. "Customers take another bowl and don't finish it," so now you have to pay for three extra lettuce leaves—it's a disgrace! I only knew the concept by name, so I wanted to try it. I was warmly welcomed by a young waiter who offered me several tables, listening to my preferences on a Saturday evening at 7 pm. A woman came to explain how it worked: €15.90 for a main course of your choice (from eight options) with unlimited sides. The sides are a salad bowl and a bowl of fries, as well as a sauce boat with their special sauce, a vinaigrette mix with a mayonnaise-like taste. I was served in 10 minutes, being the first table to arrive. They brought me a carafe of water and some loaves of bread at the same time. (The bread was nice and soft, not hard as I'd read in some reviews.) I'm used to getting a sad, poorly dressed lettuce leaf when I eat at American diners, but there was nothing like that here. The salad was good and generous, the fries were cooked perfectly and seasoned just right, and I doused it all in sauce, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The classic burger was good, but it wasn't served with cheese, which was a bit of a change from my usual fare, as was the single-meat cooking method (even though I like my meat rare). The young waiter asked me several times if everything was alright and was very professional. You can order extra sauces (ketchup, etc.) if needed. The decor and ambiance were bright enough, and I wasn't bothered by the noise. The plates served were a bit small once everything was on them. I'm used to eating from huge plates at American diners. I must admit that my fries jumped off the plate several times after a few careful bites. I'll gladly go back, but this time to order something else, like a ribeye steak or chicken, for example.
