Unpleasant staff, meats not cooked as ordered – the only Regent bistro where I've had this problem…

Bistro Régent is a charming little restaurant distinguished by the quality of its food and pleasant atmosphere. The welcome is warm and the servers are friendly, which is much appreciated. However, the wait time is an area for improvement, as it takes at least 45 minutes between drinks and the arrival of the main course, which is quite long.

It's a Regent-style bistro, so it lives up to its reputation. Good value for money.

This restaurant chain offers steak, salmon, beef or salmon tartare, chicken, and, new this year, the Burger with the famous Charmelcia sauce. The desserts are good: Tiramisu or strawberries with Chantilly cream.

Yesterday, Sunday lunchtime, for Mother's Day, I came to eat with my mother. We had booked and frankly, nothing to complain about, the service was top-notch despite the crazy crowd at the restaurant. I congratulate the waitresses for their great work despite the conditions. Thank you!

Fantastic dinner, the food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed it. A huge thank you to the three blonde waitresses who were absolutely lovely from beginning to end.

I shared a meal with my family to celebrate my birthday in a simple way. We ate very well. We didn't have to wait for a table. The only downside was the slightly long wait at the table (for taking orders, between courses and dessert). And the profiterole my mother and I ordered had ice cream that was too sharp. Not edible, but unusual... We mentioned it when we left. Otherwise, a good time, thanks to a TheFork reservation.

Les Domaines Qui Montent Bordeaux-Eysines

22/08/2026: The atmosphere needs improvement. The staff is really unmotivated. A simple "hello" is the bare minimum.
20/08/2026: Online order not ready at the stated time. Order placed at 6:30 PM for 7:30 PM. That's still a full hour. It's a bit of a shame not to notify customers via the app of a delay to avoid the wait.

Climb Up Bordeaux Eysines

01/10/2026: This brasserie has improved significantly since last year. The mashed potatoes were original, though slightly salty. Everything else was excellent. A warm welcome and attentive, careful service. The rest of the staff were smiling and friendly.
19/09/2026: The food was great. The service very friendly but slow and by slow I mean moving at the speed of tectonic plates.
