A truly superb experience. We were served by a waiter who was likely new to the profession, so please excuse any minor language errors; he was very helpful, efficient, and efficient. The appetizers we shared were very varied and offered good value for money. The main course was very tasty. It was a real treat. A big thumbs up to the restaurant staff. They were always attentive, checking if we needed more bread or water, or if the rest of our order had been taken. What more could you ask for? It was so nice to feel so valued. Overall, a 10/10, thank you so much, we will be back!

A wonderful discovery during a visit to Caen.
The restaurant has several rooms, each with a different atmosphere, including a charming little courtyard.
The dishes are delicious and fresh. A great introduction to Basque specialties, especially the Basque cake for dessert. We might even come back for the cod dish, which looks amazing!

Nothing to complain about! We went to eat at Bistrot Basque for lunch today and everything was delicious, the service was excellent!
A special mention for the dessert: a raspberry-basil macaron that was simply extraordinary.

A very good experience at Bistro Basque in Caen.
The food is excellent, the dishes are generous, and the portions are well-served. One small drawback regarding the aperitif: there were no savory snacks, which is a bit of a shame.
On the other hand, the waitress was very pleasant, smiling, and efficient. And above all, a big thank you to the chefs for the quality of the dishes and the work done in the kitchen. We will gladly return!

We used to frequent this restaurant regularly and, at the time, had no complaints. We recently returned and were unfortunately disappointed by the quality of the service and the overall atmosphere, which seemed less pleasant than before. The food is still good, however, and the dishes are of high quality. On the other hand, we find the prices are now a bit high considering the experience offered. It's a shame, because we had very fond memories of our previous visits.
