Bistrot Chez Hubert sur Fouesnant

We went back last night and had the mussels, which were very good, as were the fries. For dessert, I couldn't resist having the rum baba again 😋 and my husband had the finger sandwich; he said it was delicious, and I'm inclined to believe him since I wasn't allowed to taste it 😅. We definitely plan to go back because we want to try the fish.

The waitress was professional, smiling, and attentive. We enjoyed excellent dishes (the starter and daily special = sausage with mashed potatoes and mushroom sauce to die for, and the tuna steak was delicious). We had a great time.

We loved eating at Chez Hubert! The food was delicious and plentiful, the presentation was beautiful, and our waitress was incredibly kind! Thank you!

We had dinner at Hubert's and thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish. A special mention goes to the half lobster, cooked to perfection in a flavorful court-bouillon and served with kari gosse sauce—a true discovery! The owner explained that it's made with lobster heads, among other things: a real treat, both in texture and taste. The homemade fries were also excellent, and the desserts were flawless. We also returned for lunch, this time for mussels and fries with the same kari gosse sauce, which pairs perfectly with the dish—the sauce was thicker this time, with a touch of tomato. The desserts, still as delicious as ever, confirmed the restaurant's consistent quality. Finally, we must mention the warm welcome: the staff's kindness, professionalism, and genuine desire to ensure we had a wonderful time. Thank you! This is the third year we have come to Beg Meil, and Chez Hubert has become a must-do during our holidays.

I really enjoyed the fish and chips. The fish was very good.

The food tries to be inventive but lacks flavor. The ingredients are high quality, but unfortunately, the taste just wasn't there. The prices are very high.
