A very good bakery that we've been visiting for several years during our holidays in Fouesnant. It's very busy on weekends, even at 9 am, but less so on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I really like the buckwheat bread. The seeded baguette is also very good, although I find the crumb a bit a little dry, but that's a matter of taste. This year we tried the two trompe-l'œil pastries: vanilla and lemon. Visually, they're a success, and the taste is excellent too. We shared a taste of both, and I can't decide which I prefer! I started with the vanilla; the flavor is pronounced but mild, a little sweet, the texture was pleasant, and it was quite substantial—it was good to only have half. The lemon is smaller, easier to eat, with a very intense flavor, very interesting with its crunchy topping. We also had a raspberry macaron, perhaps a little small 😉 but well-made. Thank you for offering new items!
