Excellent restaurant, great value for money, friendly staff. A bit noisy with lots of people at the tables, but we were in a quieter, smaller room upstairs!

Disappointed to have to wait over an hour between the main course and dessert with two children. A gesture of goodwill was offered at the time of payment. That was nice.

Restaurant le Mot Passant

10/05/2026: We had a great lunch here after a morning of moving house. They were friendly and welcoming even though it was nearly 2pm when we arrived it was not a problem for us to eat lunch. The burgers were excellent as was my plat du jour. Also the chips were delicious!! Service was very friendly and the proprietor is delightful. We will be going back!
19/04/2026: Back to "Le Mot Passant" and it was another wonderful experience. A warm and attentive welcome immediately puts you at ease. The atmosphere truly gives the impression of "leaving home," of escaping for the duration of a meal, which is particularly enjoyable in its unpretentious setting. As for the food, we opted for a Savoyard hamburger and an andouillette sausage: two generous, flavorful, and well-prepared dishes that reflect genuine expertise. In short, an address we wholeheartedly recommend for a pleasant time over a delicious meal.
