We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and if circumstances allow, we'd be delighted to return.
The food is delicious and expertly prepared by a very friendly chef who, if you wish, will gladly show you his kitchen and his team.
The service is impeccable: discreet and courteous. As tourists passing through, we were thrilled and highly recommend this bistro to all food lovers, and perhaps even to others.

I come here every time I'm in Compiègne. This little ritual is a delight, both in terms of the consistently excellent food and the ambiance, reminiscent of grand establishments.
The servers make it their mission to ensure every visit is a pleasant experience. This professionalism and warmth are what make Bistrot de Flandre what it is: a restaurant you can't wait to return to!

The vol-au-vent was undercooked, the puff pastry was undercooked, as was the leek fondue. As for the Angus hanger steak, it was overcooked. This establishment might try to pass itself off as a Parisian brasserie, but it's far from it.

The service didn't reflect the quality of the place, sorry; many drinks listed on the menu were out of stock (not mentioned beforehand) when we were served. The aperitif glass was clearly dirty.
Otherwise, the meal was decent. The price/quality ratio was not justified.
