Bistrot de Jules sur Antibes

The location and atmosphere is amazing. The food was not spectacular but also not bad. The calamari was pretty good. The gnocchi with truffle was rather tasteless. The tiramisu was also quite good but the second dessert we tried with the raspberries did not feel fresh.

Best steak, best tomatoes, best tiramisu, best pistachios cake we ever had.

I don’t know how this bistro has a 4.2 rating when it was 5’s across the board for us. The fried calamari might be the best I’ve ever had. The tomatoes were like a different fruit / vegetable from the US. The octopus was gorgeous, pretty light tasting, very tender. Super busy bistro with families and their babies all around. Never seen the decor of veggies in vases and big martini glasses. Loved it all.

The most delicious salads I have ever tried in my life!

We ate there for the music festival. Despite the crowd in front of and inside the establishment, we were received and seated quickly (we had reserved). We were able to change tables before the waitress took our order. We preferred to be inside, given the passage to the terrace (music festival). The service was very pleasant and relatively quick (given the crowds present in the establishment). At the end of the service, the waitress took the time to chat with us, which was very pleasant. The dishes are based on fresh produce, from the establishment's owner's market garden, which justifies the price of the dishes. Being from Nice, I was not disappointed by the cuisine. For a little over 60 euros per person, we ate: aperitifs, starters, main courses, desserts, coffees.

Great meal from A to Z. Top staff. Too bad it's so far from home. (Finistère). Congratulations also to the cook.

Very good restaurant, passing through in August with family, we ate very well, very welcoming, very pretty decor.

We were initially seduced by the ‘fresh produce’ arrangements on the tables, but certainly not disappointed by the food. Very fresh produce, well prepared and served by conscientious waiting staff. Liked it so much we booked again for a 2nd visit - equally good.

Fantastic restaurant in Antibes old town . We missed this treasure on our first visit to Antibes but very glad we didn’t this week . All food was exceptional but we really enjoyed the calamari . Excellent choice of wines , goes without saying in France, but great Sancerre!
