Pleasant restaurant. Good value for money.

We regularly dine at this small restaurant in Fontainebleau and have always appreciated the quality of the food. As usual, we would like to compliment the chef again on Saturday evening; the dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and met our expectations. However, we were disappointed by the welcome and service that evening, which we found less warm than usual. Another regrettable point was the table layout. The tables were extremely close together, to the point that we felt like we were sharing our meal with our neighbors. Seated at the back of the restaurant, separated from the terrace by a glass partition, we were nonetheless very close to the other customers, to the point of being able to follow the arrival of their dishes and their conversations. This significantly detracted from the privacy and comfort of the dinner. Furthermore, at 9:15 p.m., a significant number of desserts were already unavailable on the menu, which is quite surprising for a Saturday evening and limits the choices at the end of the meal. It's all the more disappointing because we really love this establishment and the cuisine truly deserves to be showcased in a more pleasant setting. We hope these aspects can be improved during our future visits.

It was our second time, and once again, we were very, very warmly welcomed, my little sister, my grandma, everything was excellent, and the waiter and waitress were lovely.

Found by chance one Sunday in Fontainebleau. We had a wonderful time. The owner and waitress were very welcoming. Excellent homemade foie gras and sea bass fillet with ratatouille and mashed potatoes. The Black Forest cake and the rum baba were also very good!

A very pleasant place with delicious food. It was our second time in this restaurant and each time we had a very nice evening. The food was fresh, nicely served and very tasty. The portions are generous and the service is good. The dessert was so good that it was almost gone before I had managed to take a photo of it;-) I don’t really understand why there are so many bad reviews… I do recommend!
