A fantastic place to eat in Valence!
The food is truly excellent, with a well-executed bistronomic style.
The ingredients are high-quality, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
The terrace is lovely, perfect for enjoying a delicious meal in a pleasant setting. I highly recommend it!

The food: Tartare of crab with avocado-was ok but strangely cut with basil oil and balsamic vinegar. The girolles panfried were not seasoned properly but the girolles with fried artichoke and pancetta was tasty.
Mains- tartare and carpaccio of beef were good but the fries, soggy. Cod with ravioli - another strange combination, did not go together but separately, fine.
The salad of seafood missed mussels even though listed on the menu and one of the scallops had a cold just thawed kind of interior. The vinaigrette was too overpowering.
Raspberry macaroon with fresh berries and the figs in red
wine were both flavourful.
Service was good, food arrived on time. No complaints.
Very loud inside.

It's always a pleasure to dine at Bistrot des Clercs. The quality and the welcome are excellent. The service is quick and the waiters are friendly. I'm deducting one star because the desserts are a bit pricey (€11).
