Bistrot des Vosges sur Paris

We came to Bistro des Vosges specifically to try the aligot, so naturally we were curious to see whether this famous combination of mashed potatoes and melted cheese would live up to the hype. It looked wonderfully rich and comforting, but, unfortunately, the taste didn’t quite match my expectations. The sausages served with the aligot were a different story: they were absolutely delicious, even if they weren’t particularly impressive to look at. The onion soup and duck leg were also excellent and, overall, the food was very enjoyable. The service was friendly and attentive, and we had a pleasant time at the restaurant. Unfortunately, there was one small issue that affected my overall impression. I happened to keep the receipt and, a few hours after leaving, noticed that we had been charged for two large draft beers even though we had ordered small ones. I’m sure this could easily have been sorted out had we checked the bill before leaving, so I wouldn’t consider it a major issue. Still, it’s worth taking a quick look at your receipt before you go. Overall, Bistro des Vosges is a pleasant place with good food, friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. I would have happily given it an excellent rating if it weren’t for the billing mix-up.

So heartful, so warm... The food is special and really delicious. I recommend this place without any hesitation.

Le Marais district!!! Very friendly, and dinner on the terrace was wonderful with refreshing beer—Parisian prices, but at least it was cold, which was much appreciated. The food was delicious.

The service is exceptionally attentive and always strives to fulfill every wish. A pleasant restaurant with typical French cuisine. The homemade onion soup is particularly recommended. Prices are on the higher end. The location is right in the city center, so it can be a bit noisy when the doors are open.

Bistrot des Vosges was a wonderfully pleasant final dinner for our trip in Paris. The severs were very kind and anticipated our needs. They brought us waters and refilled them without us asking. They were energetic and upbeat and seemed very happy with their jobs. We got escargot to start and they were very tasty. The French onion soup and aligot were incredible, I can't even describe how delicious it was. Overall, this was a great end to our trip.

Perfect for a romantic dinner for two. Luckily, it wasn't crowded, and we had a great time. The waiters were very kind and professional. The onion soup was amazing.

Discovered this restaurant today in Paris, it was amazing! Everything was incredibly delicious, I highly recommend it! The service and advice were also top-notch. I recommend it!

We were delighted by this place - beautifully done and delicious dishes. Sitting in the window, watching the traffic and having these great meals really kicked off our stay in Paris! Especially loved the foie gras and their local chestnut lemonade.
