Bistrot du Boucher sur Poitiers

We were looking for a nice place for lunch and just happened across Oh! Le Bistro. Tables out front but it was a little chilly so we went inside. We should have made a reservation because the place was packed but they fitted us in and we were seated at a booth. Fantastic service, great menu and good choices. We all had the plat de jour. The restaurant is very elegant, spotless and the staff are great. We had a wonderful meal and our friends who live in France will definitely be returning!

We enjoyed everything in this restaurant! The food was really nice, the taste and the presentation was there. The only remark I would have to make (for which I lowered the mark) is for the chef to make sure to wash well the salad, as we felt some sand in it from time to time. In rest the steaks were delicious! My steak was tasty, but after I asked for pepper sauce it became very tasty (for me it’s original sauce was not enough), but the faux-fillet is excellent! It doesn’t need any additions as it melts in the mouth! Worth paying more as the meat is definitely more tender. The crème brûlée was excellent as well! Overall a very tasty experience. I would also like to congratulate the staff who is working very well even though the place gets really full in the evening!

Great restaurant, very clean with a great atmosphere inside. The aperitifs are excellent, the quality of the meat is unparalleled and the desserts very fresh and light. And all this served in a more than adequate time, as did the prices. And attentive and wonderful staff (mention to the young waitress with glasses who was excellent) If you are looking for a restaurant in Poitiers, look no further and come to Oh Le Bistrot. 3rd time we have gone there, the service is impeccable, the dishes succulent and the prices appropriate. I highly recommend!

La rue est d’abord très agréable. L’entrée du restaurant et l’accueil le sont tout autant. Le personnel est très efficace et aimable. Nos plats étaient parfaits ( dont des escargots en entrée et des rognons en plat principal !! ). Nous pourrions revenir à Poitiers pour y dîner, c’est dire…
