Bistrot Kanttu Ostatua sur Hendaye

We visited here twice. We liked the shrimp and croquettes so much the first night that we decided to go back. At first we made a mistake with the wine, but then a nice waitress suggested a more appropriate one, and it was really great. The grilled octopus was also good. Even though we had not reserved a table, we were found seats in an almost full restaurant.

Delicious Basque region specialty, Jambon Bayonne and deep-fried lion tang 😋 It's a popular restaurant and is busy every day, but the staff skillfully rotates seats around so we didn't have to wait too long to be seated. It had the feel of an izakaya and was perfect for a summer vacation.

Des entrées tapas savoureuses et prix corrects frais, fait maison, les prix des plats sont plutôt élevés. Entrées, plat et dessert, tout est copieux. Une carte simple et assez variée, cuisine régionale et espagnole. Tout était bon. Le service est parfait, rapide, souriant. Un choix de vin du pichet à la bouteille de bonne tenue. La sangria n’était pas top mais le irish coffee était parfait. Une ambiance chaleureuse dans un décor désuet mais qui a son charme. Je recommande ce restaurant à Hendaye plage.
