We found simple, stylish French cuisine in a historic French city among the proliferation of burger and pizza bars. What a delight. Wine menu with a choice to excite the most descerning connoisseur. Highly recommend.

Restaurant in the former St. Michel prison. Impeccable service with plenty of humor and smiles. The dishes were truly excellent. We didn't try dessert, but we were very tempted!

07/06/2026: Relaxing on the terrace after a busy day, I often have a beer 🍺 or a glass of wine 🍷. I admire the woman in charge who constantly has to "police" the area, keeping onlookers away from bothered customers. Isn't there a social emergency service in Rennes?
