The cuisine is still very refined. Wine prices have increased, and it's becoming difficult (even without buying top-of-the-range wines) to find an AOC wine for under €50. It's a shame, as this discourages people from coming for a meal. There's also been a slight decline in the quality of service. Nevertheless, it remains a good restaurant on the Côte de Nuits.

We stumbled upon this place by chance for Easter lunch and were absolutely delighted. There were five courses, all delicious. The fish and lamb were simply delicious.

Great all around. Sommelier especially was fantastic! Our whole group loved the food. Only downside was the grumpy waitress but she may have just been having a bad day

If you're looking for an authentic Burgundian experience, Bistrot Lucien is simply unmissable. The atmosphere is warm, elegant, yet understated, and will instantly make you feel at ease.
The cuisine is extraordinary: typical Burgundian dishes prepared with great care and respect for tradition. The Bresse chicken was absolutely memorable: tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked—one of the best I've ever tasted.
Special mention goes to the wine list: extensive, well-selected, and perfectly in keeping with the region, with top-quality labels.
Highly recommended for a special dinner or for anyone who wants to discover the best of Burgundy at the table.

The sommelier at bistro lucien is one of the greats. I came the previous year for lunch and this year he remembered me and treated me with such great hospitality . I wasnt able to stay long but it was a highlight of my trip.

Located inside the famous "Rôtisserie du Chambertin," Bistrot Lucien is an experience that reconciles authenticity. The menu stands out for its studied simplicity: a few choices, but they masterfully showcase the ingredients, creating distinct flavors that linger in the memory.
The real coup de grace, however, is the wine list. Entirely focused on the region, it offers choices at very reasonable prices that allow you to explore the region like few other places in Burgundy. A must-visit for those seeking substance without sacrificing class. Highly recommended.
