Perhaps the best way to discover Gevrey-Chambertin. The setting is magnificent, the food is excellent, and the wine is exceptional. The staff is very pleasant; I highly recommend this place.

Nice place with an impressive wine list. The food is classic bistrot fare, well executed, rich, and satisfying, though we found it quite heavy and the portions were on the large side.
The main downside for us was the service. While the staff were professional and efficient, the experience felt a bit impersonal. We missed a little warmth and a more personal touch.

We came for dinner and both opted for the traditional €35 menu, which was a very pleasant surprise. We had a lovely time in a relaxed atmosphere with a nice bar. The traditional cuisine is truly excellent (especially the snails and sausages). The vegetarian dish was also very good. Special mention goes to the desserts, which had perfectly balanced flavors (not too sweet). The service was superb; the waiters were discreet yet very friendly. We recommend Bistrot Lucien without hesitation!

We enjoyed a shared platter in the wine bar area, where we received a warm welcome and had a great chat with the sommelier, who took the time to let us taste several wines and tell us about the winemakers.

Bistrot Lucien was a great place for diner. They offer a very affordable (46€) menu lunch and diner including starter, main and dessert. The oeuf en meurette were excellent and the best I ever had, coming in a very concentrated sauce. Staff was friendly and the sommelière was knowledgeable and happy to suggest things in the predefined price range without trying to upsell us. The setting is nice. They also sell wine for takeaway. All in all I would definitely go back

Top quality, the eggs meurette are fabulous, the duck too... truly excellent. The servers are friendly, welcoming, and always ready with a joke, which is fantastic. Fine dining in the heart of the vineyards.
