After all these years, still top-notch and still affordable 🦋 €15 - €18.50 - €22 for the 3 courses. Very pleasant. Super friendly.
Two choices for the daily special.
Tasty with delicious gravy with honey, but a tad too greasy and I miss vegetables...
but very cheap! €10.50? How do they do it!

We had a wonderful time on the terrace with a good bottle of wine and a delicious meal! The waiter was very pleasant. The value for money is excellent, I highly recommend it!

Quirky French bistro. Focussed menu offering quite different fare to your typical French bistro - all of which was delicious. Set on a side street of Angouleme with a lovely outdoor space on a sunny day. Attentive service.

Our first time at this restaurant and what an excellent discovery! We ate outside, then it started to rain, and the servers were very efficient in quickly finding us a sheltered spot. The service was fast and efficient. The dishes were excellent, well-seasoned, and generously portioned. You can tell everything is homemade. We had the set menu of starter, main course, and dessert of the day, and everything was excellent. We will definitely return; I recommend it 1000%! Thank you so much!

A restaurant we'd already discovered off-season. This year, we had a very pleasant lunch on the terrace, a super friendly welcome, an original and refined menu, incredibly fresh ingredients, and beautiful presentation from appetizer to dessert. We'll definitely be back. THANK YOU.

A wonderful discovery in Angoulême, Le Saint André offers excellent and sophisticated cuisine, both in flavor and presentation. The staff is professional, and the owner, Frédéric, is very attentive to his customers while remaining discreet. If you're passing through Angoulême, this is definitely a restaurant to remember.

We had a wonderful time at Saint André.
The welcome was truly remarkable: warm, friendly, and attentive, without ever being overbearing. We immediately felt at home.
The dishes were exquisitely refined, with delicate flavors, perfectly executed cooking, and meticulous presentation. Each plate seemed to have been carefully considered down to the smallest detail.
A truly wonderful restaurant in Angoulême that I wholeheartedly recommend. We will definitely be back!
